Woodburners are tested in a laboratory where the conditions are ideal, e.g : dry wood, perfect draught, insulation etc. In a home the envirement is different. Given the variety of wood (oak, beech, pine etc) where the intrinsic calorific value of each type differs; also altitude chimney height, insulation, users experience - factors that will influence output and Autonomy in varying degrees.
